I'm a largely self taught artist, and only began painting 6 years ago when  ill health ended my nursing career .

I have had to adapt to a new way of living, and the creative process has helped me to deal with disability and chronic pain in a constructive and fulfilling way.

When I'm absorbed in a painting, or even surrounded by nature and choosing a subject to paint, I forget my limitations and find myself truly engaged and at peace.

I have exhibited locally and regularly show my work in The Brighton & Hove Open Houses, where I was lucky enough to be awarded runner up Artist of the Year 2021.

I am also a member of  Adur Art Collective .
